The National Qualifications Authority of Ireland (the NQAI) have approved the alignment of the APAC and the National University of Ireland play therapy training awards with the National Framework of Qualifications (the NFQ).

The only play therapy courses currently run in Ireland with valid University Post Graduate awards are the APAC courses which are delivered in a collaborative
partnership with National University of Ireland and which have been approved by the NQAI as equivalent to HETAC level 9. Please check the status of any

APAC has run our MA in Practice Based Play Therapy programme at All Hallows Dublin for eight years, lately in partnership with the National University of Ireland. The announcement that All Hallows will cease recruiting students for their own courses has no impact on our Play Therapy courses which will continue in Cork, Dublin and Galway as normal.
